Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
happy Turkey Day everyone! How ironic is it that yesterday during some downtime I was walking through part of a state park here that has a "farm" basically farm animal type zoo... And got to see turkeys in person for the first time. (considering I'm a country girl from the middle of nowhere OK kinda surprising I had never seen one before...) But they make some cool noises. I had always known about the gobble sound, but that just seems to be when they are agitated. When just "talking" to each other or I guess trying to demand food from me they make almost a barking sound. In fact at one point a dog did come by and was barking at them and it really did sound like they were trying to talk to each other. Just a funny incident the day before almost an entire nation consumes MANY MANY turkeys...
Hope EVERYONE has a wonderful day, and I can honestly say that one of the things I am thankful for is having this site to come to and share with everyone without having to worry that someone is going to jump down my throat just because they have a different opinion. Thank you to Rich and ALL of the moderators and also ALL of the members that make this community such a joy!
Now bring on the TURKEY!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the USA. Enjoy your holiday and time with family and friends. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Re: Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at Herp Center!
I'm thankful we are reptile lovers and not turkey lovers.
I suppose this thread would take on a whole new meaning. LOL!
I hope everyone enjoys their day with family and friends and stays safe throughout the holiday season.
To our non-USA members, we are sure thankful to have you with us in our reptile community!
