Re: animals looking for new homes

Hi Ryan,
I'm in Michigan too. I have taken in a number of animals people haven't been able to keep any longer, some also very ill rescues. All of my dogs, all of my house cats, several horses, a few sheep, 2 peacocks, 2 peahens, some of my snakes, and a number of lizards. Some stay with me, some were too ill and even with excellent vet care didn't make it, some end up with adopted families who will treat them well. I also know a number of people who take their reptiles to the various reptile shows. There is one in Lansing, I'd have to check dates on all of them, one in Kalamazoo, and one in Taylor. They are usually every month. If you need more info on them, I can look it up for you. There is also a family by the name of Collison who show up at the rep shows there site is Collison Zoo, I think. If you don't want to ship and want to know where the reps are going, those are some alternatives. As I said I do take in reptiles also. I'll see if I can get the info on the rep shows together.

The Show has moved to Days Inn, 6501 S. Pennsylvania. It is just south of The Governors Inn. Days Inn offers a larger room, clean well maintained facilities and a lot more parking. At the moment the hotel restaurant is closed. However, we will be in the middle of several others.
