Re: Oregan Man Nearly Dies...
Even if that was a rattle snake, You still wouldn't be able to notice the rattle. Only the biggest rattle snakes have noticeable rattles. A rattle snake adds one segment of rattle per shed. A baby rattle snake doesn't rattle at all.

Wow. Yet again the stupidity of people has been proven. Too bad this guy didn't kick off, he could have won a Darwin Award (but he might be eligible for an Honorable Mention Award). Idiot.

I really don't think the alcohol level was the problem. I think this guy probably had a few wires loose to begin with!

I am not sure Steph, lol. I dont think I could ever drink enough to become that moronic, lol. I would have to say that is brain damage or something, it takes a real genius to do something stupid like that, lol.

Re: Oregan Man Nearly Dies...
I think people just get WAY too complacent. They think, "this animal is my pet. I feed him. He'd never hurt me." Nevermind that reptiles don't think that way, that putting one into your mouth makes them think they are going to be eaten, and this is still a wild animal no matter how you keep them.
I think this guy just had a moment of stupid, where he figured he was perfectly safe from his pet. It happens. Most of the time, though, you hear about this with zookeepers and bears or lions.

- Exactly, why oh why are people so dumb? Do they think, "hey this thing is potentially very dangerous, I better stick it in my mouth or close to my face just to make sure".
"ok... this is why stupid people shouldn't breed"
- You got that right.
