Sending the guy emails before hand is the stupest thing I have ever heard. This should be on that "Americas Dumbest Criminals" show.

Lets say they did this, but the police were thinking something was a muck, they WOULD have checked the guys PC. Odds are, they would have found the emails even if they had been deleted and they would have had leads. Its not like the guy would have sat there allowing a rattlesnake to bite him. There would have been evidence of a struggle. lol

At least they were trying a tried and true method. What was it, about 2037 years ago Cleopatra conspired with some handmaidens for her own death. Not that these two Roman/Egyptian scholars would even know how to pronounce her name.

*sigh* People continue to amaze me with how stupid they can be. I'm not too sure how they expected something like that to work. If they had actually tried to catch some rattlers they would have likely got bitten at one point or another because of a extreme lack of common sense and handling knowledge. Idiots.

I think that would have been a slightly more interesting ending to the story. The two being bitten by the rattlesnakes they planned to use to kill someone else. Either way, that saddens me.

On the other hand, I think they missed the chance to use a more honest headline:

"Attempted Murder by Rattlesnake Thwarted by Stupidity."
