I don't see how this doesn't break any laws. Does that NOT qualify as animal cruelty? he was not in a survival situation where he needed to do that. he took the animal off the street, and then injured or killed it for no reason other than showmanship. I hope someone sees him and smacks him upside his head a few times. While they are at it, they should also tear a piece of flesh off and then bite a chunk out of him.

I really don't get how he got away with it, regardless of whatever state he's in. You do that with a kitten and you'd be in deep $%^&. Since I could rant on about the negative, I'll just say at least there was some positive from the video. The people's response was the appropriate one. It wasn't even a "That's gross" response, it was "That was wrong and inhumane", even though it was a rattlesnake, and that was uplifting to here it from the public's mouth.

But the dude should seriously be reprimanded for this.

Spoken like a true person who believes he is better than animals. Why are people raised to believe A. We aren't animals and B. We are better than animals? Honestly, I tolerate alot (even though it might seem like I don't). If I ever see animal cruelty in person, I will probably throttle said individual. Either that or give a mighty boot to the face. I haven't decided yet.

I think Furryscaly said it all, let that be something fuzzy and cute and its a whole different story and he would have already been arrested!

Thats about the most disgusting excuse for a human being I have ever seen! And I have seen plenty!
You have to wonder why the people running the event did not stop it.
I would like to see the local animal cruelty agency take that tape and prosecute both the idiot that did it as well as the people staging the event to the fullest extent of the law.
