Reptile Displays/Zoo's?

We will be travelling through NY state to South Carolina and back up via Ohio in a few weeks. I was wondering if anyone has any places to suggest for Reptile Zoo's or reptilian places of interest.
I know of Reptileland in Allenwood PA, and The Alligtor Farm in North Myrtle Beach.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Re: Reptile Displays/Zoo's?

I drive by Reptile Land at least once a year going to my parents house and have yet to be inside. It just looks so cheezy from the outside.

The National Aquarium in Baltimore (National Aquarium in Baltimore) has a great frog exhibit. Well, its a great aquarium in general.

Re: Reptile Displays/Zoo's?

Actually there was an article on Reptile Land in Reptiles magazine a couple of months back. It sounds like an interesting place.

Re: Reptile Displays/Zoo's?

There's a small reptile zoo in Luray Virginia. Lots of different species.

Re: Reptile Displays/Zoo's?

Thank you all for the ideas. The Baltimore Aquarium does lokk quite interesting.
I just read the small article on Clyde Peeling from Reptiles magazine and it sounded like it may be worth the stop.
Kenman1963, do you have any further info on the place in Laury? What is it called?
We hope to visit a few places like these during our travels this month.

Thank you,
Terry

I'm not sure how out-of-the-way it is, but the National Zoo in DC has a reptile house. They even have a Komodo dragon The best part of all though is that it's free
