I always feel nervous about letting such young kids handle my herps...which is why I don't let them do it  (though they are allowed to pet them if I'm holding the animal). But whatever you decide, definitely steer clear of amphibians. None are very good for handling, even if you're not three years old.

I know how you feel Matt. Any handling done is severely supervised. My daughter is a very hands on kid. Today she crawled under a van tracking a frog.
