This is scary!

Wow! I just got my first water bill for this new house and man do I use a lot of water! It is 404.35, yes you read that right, lol! Maybe I am going to have to cut the iggys baths to every other day. I will also have to tell the fish to learn how to swim in dirt Ok Kidding. I really did not realize that I used that much water. I knew I used a lot, because of the kids and the reptiles and the fish but phew!!! Now I have a giant knot in the back of my head from passing out and falling over when I opened the bill, lol.

Re: This is scary!

Are you sure its YOUR bill??? Could it be crossover from the former inhabitants??? I know when my kids tell me to "buy" water, I just say, I already have...turn on the faucet and use an icecube....geez....and sewer isnt cheap either.....hmph....

Re: This is scary!

Wow that is incredibily expensive!! Is that for one month's water usage? My water bill runs about $50 per month. My sewer I get a bill once per year and it is only like $234 for the entire year.

Re: This is scary!

ok is it safe to tell you for my water, sewer bill for my small community of 250 in this particular neighborhood, it's only 59.50/mnth use to be 23.00 but this also pays for the lights and misc things in our neighborhood. i too think it's a old bill from prev owners not paid. look into it, if not then......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

Re: This is scary!

Yikes! You'd better hope that was a one time thing otherwise you're going to have to put the kids to work mowing lawns to pay the bills!

Is it from filling the koi ponds or have you not gotten there yet?

Re: This is scary!

That seems awful high. I would take a look at those usage dates.

Re: This is scary!

LOL I doubt thath even with filling the pond it would be THAT much. I think that you need to call your water company!
