mom has been planning this trip for about a year now, its something she's always wanted to do. anyone could ask where she'd want to go and she'd say "Alaska". so coming up in about 13 days we will be packed and on our way to a 2 week Alaskan cruise. we're leaving reallly realllly early (like 4am) on the 14th of July and coming back really late on the 27th. we're taking our digital cameras and a couple memory cards so there will be lots of pics! we're going to see glaciers, checking out some of the towns and totem poles in some of the areas, we're also going on a whale watch and a place where we get to see sled dogs and hold the puppies! we'll also have an opportunity to see moose and some other types of wildlife so we'll see what happens. i am excited yet not because i'm not looking forward to the trip to the ship then home...they'll be looong days. i've been making a list of stuff to take for about 2 weeks now and i'm sure at the last minute we'll be scrambling around still throwing stuff in suitcases.

oooh have so much fun! i'm going to admit, i'm a bit jealous, Alaska seems like it would be an awesome place to explore! cant wait for the pictures!

Sounds like a great trip! Just be sure and pack clothes for both warm and cool weather! I had some friends that went up there thinking Alaska=Cold!
Boy were they surprised! They ended up having to go buy some clothes more suited to warmer weather!

haha yea we are definitely packing to do layers if we have to so if we don't need em all we won't be to hot or cold. and good walking shoes too.

D-grab a number and get in line! lol we've got family and friends here who want to try and fit themselves into suitcases.

haha, that's fine, i've got a 25 hour trip tomarow from Sweden to NY. 4-6 hours aint no thing!

yikes!! 25 hours?? i don't know if I could do that. i'd have to be knocked out for that one.

lol Steve if you can learn to fit into a suitcase.... although my family might start wondering why I keep sneaking away to feed the suitcases since now i'll end up with two stow aways
