Reggie the Alligator (So. Cal)
Was able to catch photos of the elusive alligator in the city lake

This is the same gator I tried to see when I was out on the Lake with the Gatorland team in Summer 2005.

I heard on the news that they put a fence around the pond, is this so? I know it's not an ideal situation, but I hope he can live out his days peacefully.

It's not a real fence - a temporary orange meshing-style "fence". Unfort, he won't be a permanent resident of the Lake -- he'll probably will be at the LA Zoo should the Australians trap him this summer.
