great pictures! i've always had a soft spot for peacocks... there was a family that owned two down the road from my high school and about once a week they would wonder down onto campus and escort us to class!
and that Komodo dragon looks horribly comfy =^.^=

Very nice. I never get tired of watching the Komodos at the zoo. Unless of course they're just laying around like that.

LOL, Actually that was me in the hammock, it was a long day so I needed a rest I have many others I will have to post. The INdian pythons were beautiful, one was going to shed and the other one was ver active. They also had the eyelash vipers and a huge cobra and retic, and the Gaboon viper was very large, I can say I was most fascinated with the Egyptian torts as there were a few that had just hatched in September and they were all over their enclosure and they were so small, so cute

Its amazing what you see and learn when the kids arent around! LOL

Great pictures! I need a trip to the zoo too! I live like 20 minutes from the Philadelphia Zoo. It is a very old zoo, but they have made great progress in updating the animals habitats.

Very sad though that they are getting rid of their elephants. One of my favorites. They need several million dollars to update their enclosure and they just don't have the money or the room.
