Move back in I think not! I am not so sure it is dead either. That man should consider himself lucky with only a year in jail and a 17,000 dollar fine. Imagine someones child bitten by that

It is irresponsible people like that, that ruin it for the rest of the responsible people! Makes me so angry! Shoot, my Iguana enclosures and snake enclosures have padlocks on them, not because I dont trust my kids as they know better, but I do not trust their friends, even for a split second! I should say the reason I started doing that was I walked in once and found a very good friend of mine in one of my larger male iguana enclosures without asking! Even adults can be kind of dumb

I hope they find this snake or its body, how sad!

I guess I would need either the snake or body before I would move back into the house myself.

My brother had a snake that escaped in our house. I can't remember what it was maybe a cornsnake. He looked everywhere and couldn't find it. Many months and one cold Pennsylvania winter later it turned up in my older brothers bed in the spring! Alive and well. Mike pulled the sheets back to get in bed and there was the snake!! My mother said she never heard so much noise, when Mike was trying to get away from the snake as quick as possible. Luckily Jeff was home and was able to rescue the snake. Evidedently it found its way to the furnace room and stayed there for the winter!

So, if I was living in that house I wouldn't go back until the snake was found dead or alive!

In another paper. They apparently found the mate to this cobra. They found it in his locker at work in a rubbermaid container. Is it to much trouble for people to think before they act.

A rubbermaid container How ignorant! He put many people in danger! I mean what is the possibility that where he lives has antivenom for the cobra, pretty slim to none! Well they probably do now, since they had one on the loose! I think he should have definately got more time in jail to think about the things that COULD have happened. Not to mention they probably euthanised the snakes they did find, what a waste of life due to the ignorance of one person!

Can you buy venemous snakes legally to keep as pets?

In Toronto you need a special license that is not easy to come by.
