Mr & miss Herpcenter of the year lol.

I wouldn't mind another poem contest...there can never be too many poems, and it was a lot of fun! I also like the idea of other herp writing, more photos, and the idea about creating a herp in a manipulated photo of an everyday object could be very very funny.

What about: Haikus; best herp slogan (could be used for HC); best herp recipe (I mean recipes for herps and not recipes with herps); best herp tip.

Photo specific: best herp impersonation; herps on vacations; herps' awkward moments.

Forum specific contests (good to improve forum participation): best question; best topic/thread; most helpful topic/thread/member; best article/how-to.

you should do a seperate contest for each animal,f.ex.: longest ball python, longest corn,biggest tarantula,biggest chameleon,longest tail of a waterdragon,etc. and with pics of the animal and a meassure band.
Or the heaviest of each species!

How about best field shot. Anybody can take a picture of their pet; but it can be challenging to capture photo's of wild herps. Especially if it is big, fast, dangerous, or nocturnal.
