Hello,
You need to narrow this down some. What are YOU interested in, knowledgeable with, or willing to research. In addition, how much money, time, and energy are you willing to invest in your new acquisition?

150 gallon tanks are pretty deep. You could still go arboreal unless you choose a species that gets large. If you divide the tank you can treat it like you would two separate tanks that are sitting end to end. Just take a piece of glass and silicone it in the middle to divide the tank. Just make sure that the divider reaches the top cover so you don't have anyone that decides to visit the next door neighbors.
As Rich said it really boils down to what peaks your interest. If you get something just because it fits you may loose interest in it and that isnt good for either of you.

Community tanks are always nice. I love the frog dynamic with small anolis and maybe a pond in one end with a small newt.
However, the skink thing drives all aspects of my life! I say skinks, all the way. You could get two male gold skinks and a female fire skink (burrows) in the same cage, if you wanna breed throw in a female gold skink. Other skinks work well in there too, cept Eumeces genus (Ie. berber skinks) cause they are noted tail nippers.
...Screw it. Just get some frilled dragons and gain the envy of me.

Hello,
I would suggest NOT splitting the enclosure. It is better to have one great sized enclosure for your herp/herps than to have 2 smaller enclosures that just meet the herps needs. You could really do a great and attractive setup with that much space and you would have one very happy reptile!
I myself would think a Bearded dragon would be great. That enclosure would be great and they are relatively easy to care for. The most expensive thing you would need to buy would be the lighting. The rest would be up to your imagination.
If you go with leopard geckos, you could create a fantastic setup. You could also purchase a harem of females. With that much space, you could toss in 5 Leopard Geckos and they would be completely comfortable with one another. Unless you intend on breeding, I wouldn't add a male to the mix.

I was thinking along the lines of what kind of food you all ready have in the house. With an iguana you will have greens and veggies. I know here we are throwing way greens that go bad because we don't have enough critters to feed it to before it goes bad. Think about a herp that eats the same types of food. Just my two cents worth.
