Ok guys we just watched Snakes on Plane on DVD...what can I say. It reminded me of the old airplane movies with snakes thrown in. I could see those who have snake phobias having a problem with the movie but lets get real here. I though it was fitting to watch the movie with my ball crawling around me. She would hid in between my foot and end of my slipper during the scarry parts. LOL

We just saw it on DVD last week too. It was SOOOOOOOO bad! I can't believe Samuel L. Jackson would stoop so low.
Perhaps it was meant as a hommage to those really old B-movie horror flicks... but I'd rather watch "Godzilla eats Tokyo" than this again!

IMO the only semi-realistic cgi snake scene involved a Burm and a chihuahua.

I watched a 3 1/2 min clip on the you tube site. It shows all the snake attack clips. Come on, that is real bad. I am not going to rent that piece of ****. That's worse than those B thriller movies.

Just from the commercials I didn't want to see that movie. The plot kind of sounded like they ran out of ideas, actually. Can't you just see the board meeting on that one?

Boss: We need to put out a horror, thriller flick. Something new. Something edgy. What do people hate?

Yesman1: Snakes!

Yesman2: Planes!

Yesman3: Obvious CGI!

Boss: Brilliant! We'll put all those together in one film. It'll make millions.



(This is, of course, coming from someone who hasn't actually seen the movie.)

i loved it! lol! if you watched the movie with no expectations other than what its meant to be...a really bad comedy/action spoof...then you wont be dissapointed. if you watched it and actually thought you were sitting down to watch a serious, well thought-out move....then im quite sure you were most definately disapointed!
