You'll be fine. It feels like a cat scratch or a rope burn. Take something with you to disctract yourself, or talk to someone. What are you getting and where? Good luck

Yeah, ok, so I'm a wimp, but my tiddly tatoo hurt like ****!!

Good luck Lyn, what are you getting done? Looking forward to seeing the results! I'm trying to work up the courage to get a second tatoo,. i want some kind of abstract lizard or snake, or the tatoo from "Red Dragon" (without the lambs horns), done on the back of my neck.. ouch a sensitive spot!

It depends on your pain tolerence. I've gotten it done, I also have several piercings and scarifications. I handle a two hour tattooing no problem, but I forget that other people and pain dont mix too well. Finding something to completly distract you will help, it has to be something that take all of your attention so you wont even think about what your feeling though.

Hmm Joe is much better with pain than me.. however maybe I just haven't been subjected to needles enough!

One day I hope I will get my desired tatoo done! For now I look forward to seeing Lyn's!

What do you have a tattoo of? I'm also planning on getting a reptillian one, but its just so hard to deside what one to actually get. For my next one I think I'll be getting a figure from a painting by Brom somewhere on me. I cant wait to see hers either, I lone the look of brand new tattoos.

Pics will be forthcoming...this one is being placed over my heart...and like I said I am getting nervous, but after giving birth to 7 kids, this will be a breeze lol....Lyn

:D I'm smiling because I have no idea whats going on!

I have one on my chest Lyn and it's not as bad as you think...the closer to the breast, the less it will hurt...close to the breast BONE is a killer though!
I can't wait to see pics!

By the way, the one on my chest was the least painful of the 8 that I have...
