Amount of food different herp’s eat

Did you every notice the smallest herps eat the most food? If you compare body size with the amount of food individual herp eat it is really interesting. Our 41/2' Iguana will eat a large 14" dog bowl of food 3/4 way full every day. But my two Russian torts (5") will eat a 7" clay flowerpot water drip dish piled a 1 -2 inches over the rim daily. I'm amazed at how much these little guys eat!
