"We don't see many scorpion bites in Vermont," Leffler said.
Go figure....What does it take to get a scorpion to bite you, anyways? Cap'n Retard always just ran away as soon as he saw people..

Technically they don't bite, they sting It depends on the species too. Emperors are very uninclined to sting because their pinch is much more formidable (I'd rather get stung than pinched). The species that stung this guy wasn't deadly, but definitely of a genus that would more likely sting than try and use it's tiny chelae (claws).

What I thought was amazing was that this happened on another plane, with another scorpion, not long before!
I sure hope nobody put the scorpion on board intentionally as some kind of a "joke."

I read an article on that yesterday. I have to say that in the article I read, the man took it really well. He got treatment, but didn't seem to be blaming the airline or anything like that.
What got me was that in the article I read, at the end they made it a point to say that he'd not seen snakes in a plane, and might go see it now. Like the two have anything to do with each other.

Haha, actually, that's the article I thought this one was But they mention that incident in this article. In that scenario the man was going from Miami to Toroto after coming back from I think Costa Rica, and the scorpion had stowed away aboard his luggage.
