awww....now why would it happen just as I leave home. Got a text from people back home letting me know about the newspaper headline... Newspaper frontpage today "Snakes Invade Durban". Now doesn't that suck...that I am not there...

They expect you to fly back and extricate the snake, of course!

I loved this statement in the article: ""If you encounter a snake, avoid it at all costs. Don't do anything that will provoke the snake as they will retaliate and this could result in a painful bite."

Snakes may indeed react by attempting to bite, but saying they will "retaliate" is a little silly, in my opinion. They may instinctually strike in an effort to protect themselves, but that's the extent of it...

wait... Amy... didnt you know??? Snakes are EVIL! i couldnt imagion them NOT retaliating! especioly when some numbutt runs after them with a stick!!! isnt like, eating people all that they do?!?!? =^.~=

lol, thats cool. i wish I could see snakes everyday but not running free in my house, at least not the highly venomous ones. a gardner snake or a corn snake in my house I could live with finding, but other than that not too fond of finding them in the house. lol. Well thats what they get for living in africa I guess. i never thought that snakes would go right into someones home to find food? well I guess you learn something everyday.
