First, here's some pics of my girlfriend's crestie, Pika, who has been caught a few times licking his hemipenes. Anyone know if this is a mating behaviour? He's only started it since Kitkat abandonned her eggs...Also, that's vermiculite as a substrate til I can get me some sphagnum tomorrow to go overtop of it (trying new methods of moisture retention). Oh yes, Pika didn't like being caught doing this so I had to act fast, so the pics aren't the best in quality.








And now, as a teaser for the high hopes we all have in the croc skinks, here's some pics of them (I tried for a video but both are on edge today...weird).


This is Kiera, the "non gravid one" that is smaller and SHOULD be the female by outer morphology, but clearly isn't. Gotta love skinks for that . Yes, that's a food dish she's in.

Oh yes, don't forget to notice that the one that isn't gravid is the one that's out more and is less grumpy. Strange thing that her fatness is making her change behaviours, no?
