Does anyone know who you can legally ship snakes from state to state through the mail system? I am doing a trade with someone, but I am having trouble locating a shipping company that will ship snakes. Can anyone please help me? thanks in advance for any and all help & assistance.

DO not use usps it is illegal to ship snakes through the usps you can send lizards not snakes fedex you need a shipping account so dhl or mayb ups marsha will probally be able to help u more.

I just had this problem a few weeks ago. Delta dash does snakes and fedex does business to business-ups and dhl DO NOT SHIP REPTILES. Thats what I was told. You also cannot send through regular mail that's illegal. Also airports and some airport companies also deliver and ship! Hope that helps a little.

I use Fed ex for my snakes and DHL for my lizards.

I was told you do have to have an account with FedEx and that they only ship business to business. I called them and that's what I was told. DHL also told me they don't ship reptiles! Maybe it depends what state your in! I dunno it's so dumb. How the Heck does everyone ship everything then? It makes no sense!

Yes, I do have an account with fed ex and you dont have to ship business to business...I ship to resident areas as well.

Ok. The person I spoke with at fedex and their live animals line both said you can only ship snakes business to business-Lizards at anytime!

That makes since...because what I mostly ship are lizards .

YES. Ok! See but what about the people who are only wanting to ship snakeS? What and who are they supposed to use! Thas my whole issue! There is not a company that will be easy and willing to ship snakes! Like FEDEX is with lizards! That's what I meant! Unless you do know of a company like that? That would help me a huge bunch!
