I've had my female baby Black Mexican Kingsnake for about a month. Her name is Venus. She is very black and shiny except for two rectangular patches of white inderneath her lower jaw (which looks very nice). She had her first successful shed about 2 weeks ago, and is doing great. She especially likes to hide under her water dish, rather than on her heat pad (don't worry, she's not getting burnt by it). When I take her out she is very active and curious with a fairly strong grip. She's feeding on pinkie mice every five days and is a very aggressive feeder. I'll try to get some pics up as soon as I can get a good shot of her. Any questions, comments, or suggestions are welcome!

The breeder her got her from is a bit of a scum bag, as lots tend to be, but he bred a darn good snake. Healthy as heck...and she doesn't bite anymore! YAY!
