Dumb Snake
Last Night around 3 am. i was up chiseling away an ornament that was plastic that I had in my bp's cage. She stuffed her head in the thing and her head got stuck! i got a screw driver and chiseled it away from her face. but I still couldn't get her out. finally she slipped her head out and then I took a wire cutter and snipped around her body...very hard on a mad snake hisses at you....and then she was free....the process probably took like a half hour! REALLY it was a bad thing but it was kind of funny when me and my boyfriend were done. We heard her banging it around her tank she was spining it around b/c it was stuck on her head!! They can be pretty dumb sometimes!!-

The snake wouldn't have done such a 'dumb' thing if the owner had carefully checked for dangers in her cage. Be sure to look at all cage decorations from an animals point of view otherwise one of them might not be so lucky next time!

Yeah it has been with her since I got her so I was hoping she would never do that I definitely at first was going to take it away when I got her from the guy that I got her from, but I had 2 together and neither of them tried it ever. I had sold one about 3 weeks ago and now she decides to put her head in it!! Too bad i'm selling her too, she might be interesting, haha, just kidding. I'm looking to broaden my horizons. I believe the next thing is kenyan sand boas. I want a male and female. I'm going to the Northern Berks show this Saturday so I may get something there!!

Well good luck with that and be sure to research and set up your tanks before hand!
Please don't type in short hand, it makes it hard for our international readers to understand and I don't have the time to keep correcting it. Thanks!

I'm glad you got the snake out. Just think what would have happened if you couldn't get her out.
