Last weekend palaeomike, my girlfriend and two friends jumped into my car and went to Drumheller's Reptile World. 8 hours of driving total that day for 2 hours of time in the reptile world.

This weekend we went the the Calgary reptile show...we got two Crested Geckos, deciding to abandon the fire skink endeavor because the pet store is being terrible about all this. We needed to get Apollo a roomate cause Apollo is kind of mean.

Next weekend we are going to the Edmonton show here in town where a local owned store said the would bring, for discount, fire skinks. We'll see how that one goes.

What's Life Without A Little Magic!

Those are very cute. I think Crested Geckos are soon going to take over for being the most popular reptile. They are everywhere now. I think I'm getting the itch to get some now too.

Crested Geckos have outnumbered Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos at 3/4 reptile shows I've been to. They are in every store in droves. I don't know how stores can still charge 200 dollars for one up here, they are so common that breeders are having issues selling them for more than $120 here. Interestingly enough, geckos from the genus Uroplatus came out in droves this last show as well.

Even some rare woma appeared...strange. Black mexican kingsnakes for only 80 and frilled dragons for only 300. Things are changing fairly fast I think.

Yup! They are perhaps the best lizards I have ever owned.
