our have thier scent glands removed, so that helps, they wouldnt be bad if they would actually use the litter box and I would clean it out everyday...

I have read that the more you bath a ferret the worse thier smell gets, from what I have studied, only bath them once a month, and the key to keeping the smell down is to keep the cage cleaner...

Mine have had their scen glands removed too, Ill only bathe them once a month The thing is Im allergic to them, but I love them dearly! And thankfully mine use the litter box, now if only I can teach them that going around stealing all 5 of the house phones, car keys and anything else they can get their greedy paws on(including the dogs toys!) isnt proper ferret behavior...just because all the other hoodlum ferrets do it dosnt mean they have to!

House ferrets? you lot are nuts we used to have ours in a big hutch out doors with a big run for exercise. I didn´t think they smelled and they was full sex glands and bits and bobs. Ferrets are great because they will use only one spot to go to the toilet.

Brilliant idea ..
My WD doesn't stink cause she poops in her water.. so this is going to be a great alternative for the Bearded Dragons
