Thanks, guys! The kids got me no new herps today, but I had a good day. We went to downtown Washington, DC and toured the itty-bitty National Aquarium (tiny, but the octopus was totally cool!), had hotdogs in the shade of the Washington Monument, hung out in some of the public gardens, went in the Air & Space museum JUST for the gift shop, had ice cream while heckling a squirrel, zipped through a sculpture garden, and came home (got stopped by a cop on the way home because I was in the carpool lanes and he didn't see the kids and thought I had only 1 person in the car -- but he was very nice). I'm pooped! And the kids wanted to go to the Museum of the American Indian AND the Botanical Gardens on top of all that! But Mom was wiped out!
