Shed help?
I was in my local pet shop that has just started selling reptiles and a girl had bought in her baby roal python which had some shed issues!
I saw the guy who worked there rubbing the shed off it and advising the owner if this happens again she can help the snake shed by rubbing it off if it has trouble again! Is this safe to do as I thought it was bad for the snake....... |

Ball pythons are notorious for shedding problems. People have trouble keeping the humidity right. IF the skin is loose and ready to come off you can GENTLY rub it off without problem. If the skin does not come off easily then soaking or other technique is required.
Your kingsnake will probably not have need of such help.

NO! never pull the skin off of a shedding snake when a snake sheds it hurts it's like a sun burn to us, and the reason why it was having a bad shed is because of the humidity in cage was to dry,....
