Try getting down on the floor, laying flat and look around. Kind of dragons eye level. You might be surprised at all the little nooks and crannys you will find that you never knew where there.
Good luck in the search.
Been there!

Thanks, merlin.. The more I think about it, and the fact that I havent found him yet (I have been crawling off and on for at least two hours..) I wonder if maybe he did sneak outside while I was out with the dogs. But I dont usually leave the door open.. Then again, I dont usually leave his lid open either..

Well, if I cant find him, I mean REALLY cant find him, I hope he did get out. At least he'll likely survive. But Im really sad that I dont know where he is. I never thought I would miss a reptile, but I do. They dont even have a limbic region!

No. Im really getting stressed. Ive looked everywhere. I made the temp in the house 75 and left his basking lamp on all night in the hopes he would seek out the warmth. Maybe he'll get hungry and remember where his food is. I dont know what else to do, but Im pretty distressed.

It hasn't been too long yet. I know what it's like but don't get too worried. I once lost a young boa in my house for 3 weeks. I also reunited a Bearded Dragon with it's owner after it had been lost outside for 3 weeks in October.

I hope it's a Bearded Dragon, not a frilled. Frilled can get mean. I assume it is a Bearded Dragon. The heat source idea works well, as do the crickets. Give em a shot. As with most reptiles escaping and being lost, you'll come accross them in an awkward place you don't expect to when walking down a hall or something. Just keep an eye out whereever you go on the house.
