www.hognose.com is a good site for info on them as is www.hognose .co.uk

I very seldom see hognoses even in the herp shows around here. they just don't seem to have the same following that the more common snakes have and thats a shame.

The names are from Rudyard Kipling's classic "The Jungle Book".
Also a movie of the same name.

well that's good and bad...and it keeps me on schedule...so far it has taken me every 4 years to get a herp so maybe in 4 years I'll find one

They had a couple of hognose snakes at the expo this weekend, they had a unique look about them. Reminded me of a pug dog, with a pushed in nose.
