Caging BRB

Hey,
I know I havn't been around much for the past few months. Alot of stuff has came up that I had to do but now im back . Well with college and now just a part time job that pays for gas and insurance to drive. I couldnt buy the cage I wanted the vision cage. so any idea's about making one or anything?? I have manage to save up some money to get the vision cage but not quite sure what would be better. Can someone help me out. As of now pandora is in a sterillte container with a human heating pad but cant seem to control the temp to good even with a thermostat on it.

its good to be back online again. been way to busy latly but now since I have class at night now its alot easier to be on. thanks for the link I just read it. I know I need humidity pretty high around 80 or a little lower I believe. i cant get the right temp with the heating pad. even with my thermostat set on low the pad still exceeds 90+F tested it before allowing pandora in the container with it on.could my thermostat be broken?

Welcome back!
If it is a human type heating pad the pad itself WILL exceed 90 degrees. This is why the pad should only cover 1/3 of the bottom of the tank. that way they can gt off of it if necessary. Our body temp is 98.6 so anything less than that would not feel warm to us. I am assuming that the heating pad is outside the enclosure. Check your temps on the inside floor of the enclosure both on the side the pad is on as well as the cool side and the air temperature itself.
