Disorginaised

I am trying to orginise spike's cage bteer to make use of as much space as possible just to give him as much space as possible but I am having some trouble. The the terrarium is a Hagen one it is three feet long, one fot wide, and one and a half feet tall. I am having some troubles fitting everything I want in there. I have a big watter dish and I built a little elevated paret for him and I made it into a hide by putting plants all around the edges so he can hide underneath it. he has plenty of plants but not many places to climb and explore :P .

If you could tell me how big your bearded dragon enclosures are and maybe show me some pictures or give any suggestions I owuld be very grateful. It is terrible when you are obsessed with either having something totally orginazed or symetrical and straight >.< oh well what are ya gonna do...

By the way spike is about nine-ten months old and is 15 inches long and fat lol. I think the thing he waould appreciate most is a basking spot where he could get a bit closer to the light becasue it his favourite thing to do. I will see him trying to runn up the glass to the light and its almost like he worships the light " Sun God". Thanks for any suggestions.

Here is Zola's cage, it is 4 feet long and about 1 foot tall and maybe 18 inches wide. I redo it almost monthly because I constantly find things that I don't like. I'm starting treatment for a parasite infection that he has this friday so his cage is going to be stripped to the bare basics for 8 weeks while he is being treated.
Top = Zola, Bottom = B*tchface

Warm side: (can you spot the snoozing Bearded Dragon?)

Cool side:

That's the worst approach to this matter. Visual organization must come last. You must meet his demands, not yours =)
First of all, everything must be organized by "side" (food goes on the cool side, basking log/stone on the warm side, etc), then everything must be placed for optimal temperature gradient, then comes safety, then space optimization and finally some visual.

Try it like this: break down the enclosure decoration to the bare minimum (one basking rock/log and not 2 or 3, one food dish and not 3 or 4, etc), place everything in the enclosure according to side and arrange it so that temperature demands are met, if you can use smaller "space wiser" accessories do it (like getting rid of pool size water dishes), push everything to the back so there's enough floor space to run and finally make some final arrangements so that everything looks a little better without sacrificing running space or vital elements.

In my Bearded Dragon's enclosure there's one log and one rock, and that's it. The log serves as basking spot and hide. When he has finished eating, I take out the plate to free some more floor space.
