I have the plans for the shelves only, which I can send you a copy if you'd like. I made some changes to them but Iggie the "Little Princess" that she, is didnt like them I took them apart and they now grace the garage.

I looked at these when I was planning my ig's enclosure. They have some good points as well as bad. For an indoor enclosure they are mesh and will be difficult to deal with in terms of heating and humidity. They might be fine for larger adult igs but there are too many places that a smaller ig could find a way to get out.
For an outside enclosure they have no shade area so the ig cannot get out of the sun. And that brings us to the next problem. PVC pipe left exposed to sunlight soon becomes very brittle. This is a cage you will have to keep rebuilding.

To copy and send the plans is outright copy right infringement and in a word theft. If you were to send the only copy you have that would be legal by my very basic understanding.

The plans are not bad but I would like to see some revision to them and fewer different pipe lengths used but they have gotten a lot better than when I obtained the first PVC cage he built. I actually used this as a spring board to start my cage design and my first soft side cage was for a Big Jungle Gym.

The Jumbo Jungle Gym would be suitable for an outdoor cage for a single adult if half of the cage were covered in opaque material.

Merlin is right in that they are too small for an outdoor cage and mesh is not a good material for indoors. But there are other options for indoor.
1) zip tie plexi or other sheet products to the frame
2) cover the mesh with the bamboo window shades
3) I now sell my cages through lizardcages.com (click) and have wall and door systems for each Jungle Gym frame offered

I totally apologize! I did not mean to step on anyones toes.
I have a copy of the shelves that I made using the plans in question.
Which I made many many changes to, in order to create something conducive to Iggie and me.

I never intended on doing any thing Illegal, steal or act like a thief.
It was never my intent to sc**w anyone over.
Maybe I should have been a little more clear in my post.

i don't have an iguana at all, but they seem like a ripoff to me.
they look simple enough to build without buying actual plans.

take some pvc tubes and varius elbow and t connectors, cut and glue the pipe to make the framework. line it with aluminium or fiberglass storm window mesh zip-tieing it to the pipes. 1/4" chicken wire for the shelves inside. thier ya go. one of those cages and you diden't have to shell out any money for plans. oh, wait. pick up some small sheets of astro-turf to wrap the inside shelf pipes in.

thiers enough pics to pretty much do it from just them, but even 1 good pic is enough. end result wont be exactly like them, but it could be close depending on how well your math and estimation is. i have off from work tomarrow, i could probably draw a plan for those just from the pictures they provide on the site, make up a material list with the costs from a local hardware store, and e-mail it to you.

part of the fun of having something is designing and building it yourself.

please note, i'm not trying to promote theft at all.
to mar: i'm not trying to insult your cage making since you said you sell cages threw thier, so please don't take offense to this post. i'm just stating my honest opinion.

PLEASE do not use chicken wire with an iguana, or in any herp cage for that matter. It has sharp edges and can slice of toes or bits of rostum if the iguana rubs on it.

Zaroba, what seems simple to you is not for others. Not everyone is mechanically inclined. When you add into the mix that you'll be shelling out $$$ for any mistakes you make, plans are a safe bet for most people.

My husband is like you are... just look at the picture and go from there, I on the other hand need pictures, measurements, a materials list, oh... and someone to do the work for me.
