Sharing an environment
I should have the new Bearded Dragon cages done in about a month or so. My question is how do you introduce two Bearded Dragons who currently don’t live together? If I put one or the other in the other Bearded Dragons I might have territorial problems. I was thinking when I put them in the new cage it would be neutral territory (not owned by anyone).
Next question if I added a third female Bearded Dragon with the other two females in the new cage at later time what would happen? How would you introduce a male? Would you take the females to him or take him to the females? |

I would put the Bearded Dragons in the new enclosure at the same time. When you want to add a third female, slightly change around the enclosure furniture so it looks like a different place or new surrounding. I have never really introduced my Bearded Dragons, I have always put them in the enclosure and watched their interaction. You would take the male to the females.

Thanks Marsha that's what I though but I figured I'd ask before I did it wrong. Looks like I got a pair when I got the babies, so he gets separated for a year or so or until I think I can handle the next step.
Now I just need to find a female snow (seem like a good wedding anniversary present to my husband from me)lol!![]() |

This semester has been really tough so far and the woods teacher wanted to wait a bit before one of the boys begins the enclosure. I figured I had time as the babies are in a 20 gallon long for the time being. Still working out what I want in my little brain
Actually it comes down to how much space my husband will give up in the living room. But the Bearded Dragons are starting to grow on him, I know he plays with them while I'm at work. lol The little girl isn't growing as fast as the male is (female is the sister to yours), but I see some growth. |
