hi all, can people please post some pix of their melamine cages so I can see what sorta set up I need. i am having a long one built. will be around 3 meters long and split into three cages. two for corns and one for a boa if u could let us know what kinda lighting would be best in there and where to put the ventilation would be great. Thanks for your time reading my babble

You probably would of been better going for height rather than length, so the cages are stackable, heres a few sites that give ideas on building them, where to put vents etc: Cage 4' x 2' Cage 3' x 2'

I agree. If you want this sort of setup you would be better off making the cages long and one on top of the other. You could split the bottom one in half for the corns and then go with a longer section for the boa on top. Snakes do not require any specialized lighting. For ventilation you can just drill a series of holes around the top of the enclosure or you could get fancy and have a couple of larger vents. If you put 2 on the top side of one end and 2 at the bottom of the other end it will give you a good cross ventilation.
