Question
I have a old tank that I plan on using for a short time until I get my custom cage started up.This is a gigantic glass tank and on one side it is cracked.
A zoology professor said it would be fine but I wanted your guys opinion. I can run my hand down it and it wont cut me and I am sure it wont fall in but to be on the safe side can I mabye put hot glue on the surface to ensure that my baby wont get hurt or is hot glue posionus? Please any comments would get greatly appreciated and please remember this is only temporary otherwise I wouldnt use it. ![]()

I would run a bead of clear silicone (waterproof) caulk along the crack and then add the duct tape over the crack after the caulk dries.

The silicon aquarium sealant will do just fine. That stuff is all that is holding the glass sides of aquariums together and thats holding a lot of water pressure!
