I Made It

I am pretty proud of this project so I thought I would show off another of my critter creations. My dad helped me figure things out to make it come out just right.

Its a corner hide for my Leopard Geckos, its not completely done as I still need to decorate it. when im done it should look pretty cool. When im done u wont even know its made of wood

That looks great. I can't wait to see it when it's decorated! It's a great way to make the best use of the space!
I'm sure your Leopard Geckos are going to love it!

Very nice, you could go to the local Home Depot and buy a bag of river rocks to glue to the outside. Is the bottom opened or closed? I was just curious.

It is open. I have found one little problem with it though it doesnt fit up snug against the glass so the crickets can get behind it (not for much longer as im switchin the girls to mealies as their primary diet.) I dont want it to look to smooth though, i want a rough rock wall look too go with more of thier natural habitat.

i would really suggest switching to mealies as a primary diet. they dont offer the nutrients needed. a way to fix the gaps would be to cover it with spray foam. it will also give it that ruff look u want

Cody I have looked into this extensively and yes they do provide the nutrients needed.

Some of the longest lived leopard geckos have been raised on mealworms. They offer more fat than crickets but offer other things just as much.

Thanks pad im gonna paint it later today I had to get some acrylic paint cuz the can I had was empty. And a cheap brush too. I looked for some great stuff but they didnt have any at bennys and no brown or black caulk either so im outta luck there.
