How many of you use them?
They are great and you can save A LOT of energy,meaning your electricity bill is not that high than with a glass tank!!
I only use styrofoam terrariums.They are very strong,very light and also the humidity is great to handle!
That was just a little tip from me.
When I have that camera I will send you some pictures of them.
And it's so cheap (except for the glass you need for the sliding doors)
that means you could have a lot more snakes,and you can costume-build your enclosures,so that they fit in every corner of trhe house LOL!

Did you build it yourself, or is it something you were able to purchase? I'm very curious about it!

I'm glad you are intrested in them,because they are great!As soon as I get my camera,I will document how to build one,and if you are good at Do-It-Yourself you will have no problems ;they are very easy to build!
There are A LOT swiss and german websites how to build them.I don't really know who invented them,but they are very popular,but you can't buy them yet! Anyway,it's much cheaper to make them yourself!

I just surfed on a web about them and read that they can save you up to 70% on electricity. You can even build big terrariums;they are very strong.
I just love to make them (well,so far I made just the one for my sinaloan,but I soon start to build a special design of two terras for my cornsnakes!)

I'm very excited about it,and I'm happy that you show intrest!
