using clay pellets as substrate for easier clean up and they dun smell as bad as soil substrate (for me mosses dun need deep rootings anyway)

spread a bit of this as the top layer

after the top layer is done, then u go into the scaping

close up on the ferns and creepers

the cave is done up using a big piece of fir bark and thick twigs as support (note this is possible as FBTs are not burrowing)

Wow, nice vivarium. I have a question, where do you buy that big piece of cork bark?

I believe Eric was refering to possible mold retention

kevman, i konw exactly where you can get a large piece of cork bark if you want some. go to www.leosreptileworld.com That is the store where I got my beardy and dart frogs from. All of which are healthy and happy. They are located in my area(forsyth county, Georgia) and they are known around these parts for the big pieces of cork bark that they sell.

oh, i'm sorry but thats really got to be up to individuals as fungi and moulds are natural also (provided the mould is not from unfinished food pieces)

but if u dun like it, then housekeeping will do the job, for my tank the bark area is easily available and those who have exp with cork bark will know that the fungi or mould on them can be easily peeled off without hurting the bark. cork are very resistant to water and not very easily penetrated by moisture so the mould is limited to the surface

hope this help!!!

Cheers
