    Sliding Doors Questions

I'm wanting to do sliding doors on my new enclosure instead of swinging doors. I'm wanting to be able to open half of the cage at a time, and have both sides open-able so I can get to every corner relatively easily. I've never done sliding doors before, so I was hoping for some advice or how-to's. Pics are always welcome as well ...I have a build log up of the new enclosure I'm building.

Go to a glass shop with your opening dimensions and tell them you want secretary doors. They should be custom made and 6-10 screws installs them. That easy.

How much would you say something like that would cost?

O ok, I may have to look into that. I'm thinking about making the slide rails myself out of a 2x4 or something now too.

    Re: Sliding Doors Questions

I use these, and they work great. They would be impractical for enclosures or windows/doors over a certain size though. I just order the track, glue it in, and then take my measurements to the local glass cutter.

I might look into the Secretary doors myself.
