Things for iguanas to climb on

I don't think my furnishings inside his cage are high enough, no matter what I do he just goes back to sitting on top of the light fixture. I made that abit better with some Silk plants so it doesn't accually touch him, but what could I put in that could keep him from going up there?

Sitting on top of the light fixture? What kind of light? Are all of these fake plants strudy enough to hole his whole weight?

Can you post a pic of the enclosure for us? I built shelves out of plywood as a sturdy basking area and mounted the light on an unclimbable surface.
Look here! for the pic.

Well, its really bunched up and tyewrapped to the cord going to the fixture. It stops him from touching the steel part of the Fixture. I also have updated the cage a bit, I have a huge fake branch that sticks almost to the top, but he doesn't use it. He just sits on the fake plants over the fixture

EDIT: I have changed the flooring to Repticarpet and added more slate rock to the left side.

Since Iguanas like to be as high as possible, and the light fixture is the highest thing in the cage, that's where he wants to be. If it were mine I would screen off the whole side about 8-12 inches from the lightbulb. This will give the ig something to climb while keeping him safely away from the lighting.
