I believe your Lowes or Home Depot only have it 48" at most. Call a glass company and they can cut piece to your dimensions. Glass isn't that expensive and may be cheaper than 3/16" or 1/4" Acrylic.

In my experiences glass is definitely cheaper. It will stay in better shape overtime as well. Plus cleaning glass is easier as well.
