New Leo Decor

Today I decided that I wanted to move Carmen, the female leo I bought in September, to the place of honor by the computer so I can keep a better eye on her (she's being kind of a pain about eating certain things ). This meant I had to move Camille's (my little female jungle leo) cage across the room to the shelves where I keep Duke the Puke's Phat Bachelor Pad . I figured if I was going to make a huge mess anyway I may as well fix up the cages, so I sacrificed an old aquarium background that I wasn't using. These pics aren't that great but they show what a difference a background can make. At least you can see all three of the Leopard Geckos Cages are from left to right: Duke, Camille, Carmen.

They look pretty good Heather!
In the first picture it looks like the background is in the tank and curling toward the light. Is that just an illusion?

No it's not an illusion. Duke's cage is a custom made plastic cage with vents in the upper back corners. I didn't want to totally block the vents so I folded over the background and taped it down. The girls live in individual all-glass ten gallon tanks at the moment but eventually they will have a nice big cage like Duke's. I hope to acquire one more female and fatten Carmen up before I put them all together though. After the girls get used to eachother I'm gonna let Duke meet his harem, then look out world!
