Waterproofing Paludarium???

This is what our member has to say: Does that mean you are adding fish to it as well as an anole? Be warned, your fish will be lunch....

Now that would be cool! I'm building this to please the anoles really. If the anoles will eat fish, then I would certainly enjoy watching that.

My plans actually include an underwater net that only allows the anoles access to 1/4 inch depth in the water. The fish would be protected from anoles and the anoles would be protected from slipping into and under the aquarium tank section (similar to getting trapped under ice). The anoles will be able to watch the fish from a viewing window I will make for them.

My newest concern is how I am going to hide a window divider that will be siliconed to the front of the tank. I am considering some alternatives to this divider.

Has you guys ever tried Quickrete concrete sealer no 8800 to seal the grout? QUIKRETE® - Concrete Sealer

Not sure what you are talking about for a window divider? Like a set up to keep water on one side and dirt on the other? If so, just cut plexi to size and affix with aquarium silicone. I have a paludarium for my toads and it works just dandy.

Never tried the quickrete sealer. Honestly, i would seal everything up with the epoxy. Best to be safe than sorry.
