looks great! if you want to hide the cables going to the pumps try getting some ivy or something from a craft store and hot gluing it on... (or even Zip ties so you can take it back off)

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

thank you thank you thank you! I do have vines I can hide the cords with, but I am not sure how I am going to do it yet. I think the flowered vine would be best to use since it has a wire inside which can maybe grip the cord better hopfully without anything holding it.

Other then the ugly with that is going to be hard to hide cause it can't fit in the back corner with the corner level there...it looks good. i can probably camo it enough though and then the crabs can have fun climbing that too

more pics later with happy crabs!

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

I think hermit crabs are one of the most neglected, exploited, and generally viewed as "disposable" pets there are...except at your place They'll love it!

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

yes, it is true..poor hermies are stuck in wire cages to die =( but they require some specific environment and need love like anything else. I love to watch them and think they are very interesting...especially when given a really cool home where they feel comfortable to come out =) and be happy. I actually had to break up a crab fight today...it was sad my two little PPs were fighting over a hole under the water dishes..and when I lifted the dishes to change the water I saw them...I hope they are behaiving now.

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

Paige, on your back wall, I saw a "dish" shaped rock. Did you carve that shape out of the GS or is that an actual rock? Looks awesome to use as a wall planter for my dragon viv.

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

lol =) you will never believe that all the levels were plastic suction cup bathroom shower caddies! I just covered it with the mortar and sealed it with the epoxy cool huh! I think I will fill it with moss or possibly a real plant like a spider plant or something. I haven't decided. All the levels are mostly deep ones so I can put moss and coco bedding in it for digging and things.

Re: I Finally Finished My Background Wall!

Sweet idea! Cheap too...I see those all of the time at the dollar store. In your last picture...it looks like you covered a high heel shoe in cement...or am I just seeing things? lol
