This is what our member has to say: With the doors on and part of the top, we're heating it up waiting for that smell to go away....

Now that's a fine Iguana enclosure.

Yeah, we haven't figured out how he's going to get from the floor on to his shelf yet.
Maybe a ladder or hammock or something. He's almost tall enough to reach the shelf, but not quite. He may be able to climb up on top of his humidifier, I don't know yet.

I think I would go for a big tree limb or log. Offset a bit of the furniture look (which isn't necessarily a bad thing!).
Or you could always just hang a rope and teach him to repel!

Re: We've Been Busy (Iguana Cage)

We've got a brace built on the wall to support SOMETHING, be it a ladder or a log. He had a ladder in the old cage. I don't have a good supply of drift wood, but maybe I can find a piece while adventuring this summer. Until then I think he may get a milk crate to jump on.

Wow, that is amazing! Maybe I should convert this old hammond organ I have been trying to get rid of into a Bearded Dragon cage, lol. You are lucky to have such a handy Dad, so is your Iguana!!

Lacey, I have a HUGE piece of grapevine trunk that you're welcome to pick up when you come visit me during your California trip this summer.
