New Enclosure Pics - Rock Wall + Waterfall

I haven't ordered my pump for the waterfall yet. I need a head height of at least six feet. Any one know of a good waterfall pump?

This is the pond. It's about 40" x 24" with depths of 3" to 8".

Here's the coloring I liked best.

One of the planter's is in the back here. I'm also going to put one on the back wall to drape either ivy or pothos like vines over the whole wall.

This is the log I'm putting in the cage. I'm not sure if I should cement it to the base, I might have trouble cleaning if I can't remove it.

I used the foam/cement method for constructing the backwall and pond. Parging mix works well, and for 14 dollars a bag its very economic. I'm getting the epoxy in the morning. West system or East system (little cheaper). Since the majority of the wall will be soaked I'm not too worried about the gloss. Not sure how many coats I'll need though. Anyone?
Anyways, thanks for sharing in my rewarding project.

Thats going to be one awesome enclosure!
I would just make sure the log is secured without actually cementing it in.
You might decide you want to change it out move it or need to remove it for cleaning.

Re: New Enclosure Pics...rock Wall and Waterfall

I'm not well versed on pumps but I'm sure if you go to a fish place and tell them your needs they will be able to help you. Make sure to put good filtration on it though.
As for the epoxy coats, two should be enough for anything that's not submerged. For the pool I would do at least three. I like to overdo things, because it's a bugger to fix it later.
