Looks pretty good. One thing I might suggest is to build up something so the lizards can get closer to the UV flourescent. The UVB light diminishes drasticly over distance and the animal should be able to get at least within 12 inches of the bulb. closer is better. I can't tell from the picture how big the mesh in the screen top is but unless its at least 1/4 inch openings you are losing a lot of the UV .

Looks great! There are a few things missing. Do you plan on adding a water bowl inside, greens bowl, and a small hide just for those rare times he feels like hideing. If I may add this, you may want to get a taller rock in the future depending on the size of your beardy he may knock the green bed down depending on his size.

i had trouble picking up that rock. if a lizard can tip it over it deserves its own weight room lol. there will be a bowl for greens and water inside. the lizard just isnt there yet. im not into hides for the simple reason sometimes they get to used to them. ive ead to stay away from hides anyhow.

I dont have hides in any of my tanks. I also just add some fake plants if they want to hide. I started out with hides and they never used them.

I have hides in a couple of the dragons' tanks but they rarely use them.

Looks great! Good job,. you know you must post pics when the dragon moves in!

Regarding stronger UV lights.. try http://www.reptileuv.com -we have two of the megaray floods and they are amazing bulbs, would recommend them to anyone! The rest of HC loves them too!

When I first got my Bearded Dragons I provided hides, and they wouldnt entertain them, so now I just have logs with vine wrapped around them and they bask under the UV on the logs, they even sleep on them too.

Your setup looks just fandabbydozey, its great, bet you cant wait to move your new baby in, cant wait to see pics

I have a hide box in the adult males tank and he likes to sleep in it. Right now he has been doing the hibernation thing and has been in there a lot! Kathy really misses him!
The baby has a pile of rocks in the warm end that gets really warm and she goes in there when she wants to hide.
