Let the constructing BEGIN!

I found this in an overstock/2nd hand warehouse. Dirt cheap, nice and sturdy, and roughly 90 gallons of space. I got it so cheap because its missing doors. They had an entire 2 car garage full of mismatched doors and the guy said he knew my doors and many like them were in there somewhere, I just had to dig. Well it was 100 degrees in there and I was starting to get dizzy so I told myself I"ll go back next week and find something to match up.

Re: Let the constructing BEGIN!

I'm SOOOOO excited. I'm gong to be spending the next week collecting all the bark and branches I can haul out of the woods. Then I have to figure out my door dilema if I can't find one in the door pile.

Re: Let the constructing BEGIN!

If you are going to use IT as that tank, you wont need doors...but you need glass or plexi glass.

I think that has the potential to be a wonderful enclosure!
And the cat is on hand to make sure you do it properly!

Re: Let the constructing BEGIN!

What exactly are you going to be housing in it?

Well, I want it to look really nice, so I was going to make cabinet doors and inset glass/plexi into it. my husband said he would just make me some doors so I dont have to haul downtown. Plus, since he is still unemployed, it gives him something to do.

Re: Let the constructing BEGIN!

oh HECK YES!

A friend of mine told me she has a sheet of plexi in her backyard, about 3' x 5' that's been there since she moved in a year ago. Said I could have it. Its scratched up, but for the area that will hold the dirt, that doesnt really matter. Now all I have to buy is the door plexi.
