New Savanna Cage.

Our new cage came in for our savanna monitor. It's not going to be a lifelong cage but should last it about a year or so. It's 120 x 60 x 60 cm and took 50kg clay sand to fill.

Hello,

That looks nice. What is on the walls? Did it come prefabricated with the walls or did you make those? They appear textured.

Re: New Savanna Cage.

It's actually pre-fab.. It's made from OBS press board that gives it the structured appearance and coated with epoxy. I don't really have to time to build myself any more. So these I just have to screw it together and decorate.

Re: New Savanna Cage.

It's good that it's coated wood. I built one for my sav a couple of months ago with uncoated wood and after two weeks it smelled so bad I had to throw it away!

Re: New Savanna Cage.

Even more than animal photos, I love seeing enclosures that people build. Very well done! Thanks for posting.
