Re: B.E.P. (Breeding Enclosure Project) UPDATE!!!!

Hey hey finally after months and months of making everything perfect Im almost done with this thing. All I have to finish is the shell around the midsection and the base and the cabinet door and Im finished. I have everything ready but the cabinet door. That will be the very last touch. Until then, I thought you all might enjoy what it looks like with the sandboxes and the blinds.
The blinds covers only a little light, but it does the job to get them to close their eyes even though im awake still with lights on.
The basking spot in the bottom tank was being sterolized...thats why it isnt there.
any ?'s feel free to ask.

Fantastic. You've put a lot of work into that enclosure.

Looks great!
I really like the blinds idea. With a little more opaque design it would be good for places where you don;t really want people to know whats behind it!

Re: B.E.P. (Breeding Enclosure Project) UPDATE!!!!

Here is the side panel for the hip there is air flow through the top and bottom because of about a 1/4" clearance from the cage and also there is small holes drilled that are apparent in the 2nd photo. This allows the cooling system between the cages work properly using the assistance of a 6" remote controlled fan behind it.
There is also a photo showing the clearance from the cage and the cooling system behind it. The left and right side panels for the hip will be secured with velcro, allowing or more clearance and easy access to the upper cage's sandbox.
